Bill Needle opens the year with his rant "Bechly Bullshit: The "Best" The Discovery Institute Has Got!" at his lonely Marmotism blog (Jan. 1, 2019). Happy New Year Bill and thanks for continuing to help my cause in 2019!
"The Story of Gunter Bechly, a Top German Scientist Who Rejected Evolution" by Bill Nugent at Medium (Jan. 5, 2019)
After last year's lecture, I now made a Q&A on intelligent design theory for the youth at St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church in Winnipeg, Canada (30 min. via Skype, Jan. 12, 2019, about 25 people). Unfortunately, the first 5 minutes of my lecture were not recorded, but you can download all slides as PDF file here.
On Saturday, February 16, 2019 I attended the Wiedenester Tagung "Glaube ist denkbar" in Bergneustadt (Germany), organized by the evangelical Forum Wiedenest. My contributions included ...:
German article "Evolutionstheorie hält wissenschaftlichen Argumenten nicht stand" about my presentation at the Forum Wiedenest symposium in the Christian news magazine idea Nachrichten (Febr. 19, 2019).
German article "Viele Fragen an die Evolutionstheorie" about my presentation at the Forum Wiedenest symposium in the Christian print magazine idea Spektrum (Febr. 20, 2019: p. 35):
Interview with me by Andrew McDiarmid for ID the Future podcast "Günter Bechly: Rich Fossil Record Says No to Insect Evolution" (March 11, 2019).
Evolutionist grumbler Bill Needle responded "Actual Science Saves Me From Bechly" at his Marmotism blog (Mar. 30, 2019), admitting that he did not even bother to listen to the arguments.
Article "Insect Evolution: Another Illustration of How Darwinism “Explains Away" about my IDtF podcast at Evolution News (March 13, 2019).
Dutch article "Mond dicht en wegwezen, creationist!" by Bart van den Dikkenberg in the Dutch Christian newspaper Reformatorisch Dagblad (March 16, 2019) about me and scientific dissenters from Darwinism.
Interview with me by Andrew McDiarmid for ID the Future podcast "Günter Bechly: Human Evolution’s Once ‘Indisputable Facts’ Now “Dead Theory”" (March 20, 2019).
Article "Bechly: Lessons from the Ongoing “Rewrite” of Human Origins" by David Klinghoffer at Evolution News (March 21, 2019) about my IDtF podcast.
German article "Der vernünftige Weg zu Gott" in the Christian weekly magazine idea Spektrum (March 23, 2019).
Article "“Ice Cube” Study of Ediacaran Fossils Is Junk Science" on Discovery Institute's site Evolution News from March 29, 2019 debunking a new study on the mode of fossilization of Ediacaran organisms, which claimed they might just be casts of endoskeletons.
Bill Needle celebrated my resumed coverage of his ludicrous Marmotism blog posts with "Bechly Bullshit Predictably Returns!" (April 7, 2019). It is real fun to have such a devoted anti-fanboy, who excels in making a complete fool of himself :-)
Article "New Fossil Human Species Thwarts Core Darwinian Predictions" on Discovery Institute's site Evolution News from April 19, 2019 about the implications of the new species of fossil humans from Luzon island.
Anonymous Darwinist blogguerilla The Sensuous Curmudgeon promptly comments "Günter Bechly Says Darwinism Fails Again" (April 19, 2019). At least he (oops, I just assumed his gender) got the punchline right.
Interview with me by Andrew McDiarmid for ID the Future podcast "Günter Bechly on the Latest Fossil Find Confusing the Human “Evolutionary Tree”" (May 1, 2019).
Article "Paleontologist Günter Bechly: “No Well-Established Tree of Fossil Humans”" by David Klinghoffer at Evolution News (May 2, 2019) about my IDtF podcast.
On the Eric Metaxas Show (May 6, 2019 Hour 2 starting at time code 40:35) paleontologist Gunter Bechly discloses his findings regarding human origins, giving convincing scientific reasons to remain skeptical of Neo-Darwinism in favor of Intelligent Design.
From May 29 - June 1st 2019 we had our great opening meeting for the new association Center for BioComplexity and NatureTeleology in Waidhofen an der Thaya (Austria), combined with an international symposium on teleology in nature attended by 31 invited scientists and philosophers (incl. Fr. Michael Chaberek, Michael Denton, Ann Gauger, Stephen C. Meyer, Brian Miller, Siegfried Scherer, and many others) from 14 countries, who presented 18 talks on physics, astronomy, biology, paleontology, mathematics, and philosophy. I gave a keynote address and keynote presentation on "Discontinuities in the Fossil Record" on May 29.
This event was one of the biggest conferences on this subject ever in Europe.
More information on this new association is available on its website.
The local newspaper Bezirksblätter Waidhofen reports about this event in the article "Internationale wissenschaftliche Fachtagung" (June 1, 2019).
Evolution News covered this opening meeting and symposium with the following three articles: David Klinghoffer reported that "“Teleology in Nature” Gains a Beachhead in Germany" (June 3, 2019). And my keynote address was published as "Why a New Center on Teleology in Nature?" (June 4, 2019). And finally Ann Gauger reported about our post-congress tour "Austrian Village Meets Biocomplexity and Teleology and Doesn’t Blink" (June 4, 2019).
The Dutch Logos Instituut reports "Centrum voor Biocomplexiteit en Natuurteleologie opgericht in Oostenrijk" (June 5, 2019).
Essay "Consider me Evidence" (May 31, 2019) for Sapientia symposium "Intelligent Design as Science or Religion?", which is part of Henry Center's Creation Project funded by Templeton Foundation.
My rejoinder to Hans Madueme's redirect follows mid of June.
