Notorious anti-ID activist Jerry Coyne is lamenting on his Why Evolution is True blog that "Damn! I did not win Censor of the Year again" (February 12, 2017), and rating against me with the usual mean-spirited falsehoods (e.g., that I deserved to loose my job because I did "promulgate discredited ideas as part of my job as a scientist at a public institution", which of course is factually incorrect and irresponsibly uninformed).
This article "Munchausen Syndrome: Perry Marshall Debates Stephen Meyer on the “Third Way” of Evolution" on Discovery Institute's site Evolution News (Febr. 23, 2017) also features my critical comments about Perry Marshall's Evolution 2.0.

Finnish professor for bioprocess engineering Matti Leisola mentions my story in his German book "Evolution: Kritik unerwünscht! [Evolution: Critique not welcome!]" (June 6, 2017) about his personal experiences as a scientist, who is critical of evolution.
Article by Karsten Pultz about me in the Danish Christian newspaper Udfordringen (online June 30, 2017; print July 2, 2017).
On August 11th 2017 I was scheduled to give a talk about fossil discontinuities at the Discovery Society's Insiders Briefing in Calgary. Because of health issues I unfortunately could not travel, so that a recording of my talk was presented and I afterwards joined the audience by Skype video conferencing for a 30 minutes Q&A session.
Video interview "Zweifel an Darwin [Doubting Darwin]" (33 min. in German, with more than 26.000 views on YouTube) recorded on August 23, 2017 with Dr. Reinhard Junker and Timo Roller from the German organization Studiengemeinschaft Wort und Wissen.
Article "Fossil Footprints from Crete Deepen Controversy on Human Origins" on Discovery Institute's site Evolution News from September 6, 2017. With more than 4.300 Likes this seems to be the most popular posting ever on EN.
Bill Needle responds at Marmotism with "Bechly Belches!" showing his mastery of rude gutter language combined with a lack of clear thinking and any expertise.

Master of gutter language Bill Needle again responds at Marmotism with "Gunter's Creationist Gaffes!", nicely exposing his poor reading comprehension as well as his incompetence in evolutionary biology and phylogenetics.
Article by the German organization Obrist-Impulse (October 5, 2017) "Vom atheistischen Wissenschaftler zum Evolutionskritiker" about the video interview, in which I tell my personal story from atheist and Neodarwinist to Intelligent Design proponent and theist.
Discovery Institute's site Evolution News reports "Wikipedia Erases Paleontologist Günter Bechly" on October 10, 2017, and also reports on October 11 about the highly dubious application of notability criteria in this case "How “Notable” Do You Really Have to Be to Merit a Wikipedia Entry?". This story made into national news reports like CISION PR Newswire (Oct. 25, 2017) and even international newspapers like Israel's Haaretz (Nov. 17, 2017) (PDF), and lead to protests by other scientists.

To the honest credit of Panda's Thumb author Matt Young, he acknowledges in his article "Creationist's Wikipedia page removed" (Nov. 18, 2017) my scientific notability as well as my ID activities being the probable true reasons for Wikipedia deleting my page.
Article "Human Origins: Out of Africa, or Out of Germany?" on Discovery Institute's site Evolution News from October 23, 2017.
Again the Sensuous Curmudgeon seems to be obsessed with my postings, and comments intelligently as usual "[*Begin Drool Mode*] Ooooooooooooh! [*End Drool Mode*]" in his blog posting "Günter Bechly: Evolution is Collapsing" from October 23, 2017. He also proves to be intellectually unable to properly use the Internet by incorrectly remarking that a page of my website is missing, only because the order of my site changed slightly with the last update. Apparently, this is way too confusing for his (self-identified) monkey brain. Likewise my treasured master of gutter language Bill Needle could not resist at Marmotism to author this piece of beautiful prose ("More Bechly Belching!") in response.

Bill Needle could not resist to respond the same day on his Marmotism blog with "Discovery Institute Hack vs Darwinist Bulldog!" (Dec. 12, 2017). I wonder if this guy is real or an under cover creationist, who tries to disgrace Darwinists by playing a boorish fanatic.
