1. Question: ID explains nothing, because who created the designer then?
Answer: First of all, ID is not an argument for the existence of God, and is not natural theology, even though it can lend scientific support for the truth of a premise
in a deductive philosophical argument for the existence of God. Also an inference to intelligent design as best explanation of a phenomenon does not require the explanation of the designer.
We can infer that an anonymous poem was written by a gifted author, even if we do not know his identity, his motivations, his tools for composing the poem, or his own origin. Even if we can
say nothing about he author, deliberate design is still the best explanation for the existence of the poem.
